A Firebrand Training
5
Day Course
Our 5-day EC-Council Certified Security Analyst and Licensed Penetration Tester Certification Program teaches Security Professionals the advanced uses of the available methodologies, tools and techniques required to perform comprehensive information security tests. The objective of a Licensed Penetration Tester is to ensure that each professional licensed by EC-Council follows a strict code of ethics, is exposed to the best practices in the domain of penetration testing and aware of all compliance requirements required by the industry.
Network server administrators, Firewall Administrators, Security Testers, System Administrators and Risk Assessment professionals.
The ECSA/LPT program is a highly interactive 5-day security class designed to teach Security Professionals the advanced uses of the available methodologies, tools and techniques required to perform comprehensive information security tests. Students will learn how to design, secure and test networks to protect your organisation from the threats hackers and crackers pose.
By teaching the methodology and ground breaking techniques for security and penetration testing, this class will help you perform the intensive assessments required to effectively identify and mitigate risks to the security of your infrastructure. As students learn to identify security problems, they also learn how to avoid and eliminate them, with the class providing complete coverage of hacking and network security-testing topics.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Students who successfully complete the EC-Council Certified Security Analyst and Licensed Penetration Tester Training and Certification Program will possess the knowledge and skills required to design, secure, and test networks to protect your organization from the threats hackers and crackers pose
Students attending thisblended-learning program will receive a robust set of course materials that caters to each of the three primary individual learning-intake styles (auditory, visual, and kinaesthetic-tactual) - critical for a sucessful accelerated learning experience.
Daily lectures and review sessions are supplemented by a combination of Proprietary Lab Manual & Program Courseware - developed to address the unique demands of accelerated learners
Our ECSA/LPT program contains official EC-Council courseware which covers the following modules:
The ECSA program certifies individuals in the analysis of outcomes from hacking technologies and tools. To achieve the ECSA certification, candidates must pass exam 412-79 that covers interpreting and analysing outcomes you come across during routine and exceptional security testing.

Microsoft Exchange 2007 (7 Days) (19/5/2008 to 25/5/2008)
"The pre-course reading / preparation is essential to success at Firebrand. I would even recommend you go a bit further into the subject to prepare yourself mentally for the course. I can see now that for high-level certs, having no experience in the field would almost make it impossible to pass the exams.
The A+ and N+ were hard enough - those with absolutely no experience of corporate servers and network will find it tough (but not impossible). However, the Training Centre is excellent and the staff are legendary. You will certainly not regret coming, even if you don't come away with all your certs. I would cetainly come back - but only if I felt properly prepared for the course."
Dan Clarkson, Synergy (Agency Worker).

The breaks we did get meant eating the very good food, far top fast to enjoy it! Bring your MP3 player if you need music to study as it's quiet and beautiful surroundings are sometimes a bit too quiet!"
Richard Young, UBS AG .

Our trainer, instilled in me a craving to gain knowledge to a level I did not know I was able attain in such a short space of time.
