EC-Council E|CSA & L|PT Certification - Exam Track
ECSA
The ECSA program certifies individuals in the analysis of outcomes from hacking technologies and tools. To achieve the ECSA certification, candidates must pass exam 412-79 that covers interpreting and analysing outcomes you come across during routine and exceptional security testing.
LPT
To become an EC-Council Licensed Penetration Tester, you must meet the following requirements in addition to attending Firebrand Training's authorised EC-Council LPT Workshop:
- Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Certification
- Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) certification
- Complete LPT Training Criteria:
- Fill out LPT Application form
- A training source agreement approval should be endorsed by the sponsoring agency
- Documentation on criminal background check, or an authentication from an investigation agency absolving a criminal history
- Resume with detailed professional experience, previous certification / certificates and references for verification to be submitted
- Agree to EC-Council Code of Ethics

Examination Passing Policy
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
EC-Council E|CSA & L|PT Certification - Prerequisites

Students who are successful in E|CSA & L|PT Certification should possess:
- Experience with Windows and/or UNIX/LINUX operating systems, along with knowledge of TCP/IP and networking
To achieve the LPT designation, you must also meet the following requirements:
- Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Certification
- Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) certification
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students regarding their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and personal fortitude. This screening process ensures a successful match between the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated training and certification.
Firebrand Training is an aggressive training environment. You must have an attitude aimed for success. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
