Cisco CCENT Certification - Overview

Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician

The Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Candidates should have the knowledge and skill to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.

During our 3-day Certification Training Program, you will live, learn, and take the exam at one of our state-of-the-art education centres. This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review) delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to pass the simulator-based CCENT exam and to hit the ground running in your career.

  • Allows you to achieve your certification in half the time of 'traditional training' while delivering industry-leading exam passing percentages
  • Helps students grasp complex technical concepts more easily by identifying and catering to individual student learning styles through a mixed visual, auditory and kinaesthetic-tactual delivery system
  • Enhances retention by employing accelerated learning techniques focused on committing information to long-term memory

Microsoft SharePoint Developer (Dual MCTS) Certification (5 Days) (4/8/2008 to 8/8/2008)

"I found the MCIP EA course one of the hardest things I have done. However, we had a great instructor who took the time to explain things to us and if we still wasnt quite sure he would try another method of explaining it. As for the food and accommodation.. well what can I say.... SUPERB!"
LA, Storm Technologies Ltd.
Microsoft MCITP Enterprise Administrator (13 Days) (1/9/2008 to 13/9/2008)

Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA) Certification (6 Days) (18/8/2008 to 23/8/2008)

"Truly immersive, you start to live and breathe the course material, thinking of nothing else, not communicating with the outside and not having a care in the worls outside of CISSP. Sets you up perfectly for the 6 hour exam."
Neil Ginns, nCipher.
(ISC)2 CISSP Boot Camp (7 Days) (14/7/2008 to 20/7/2008)

"The course was extremely difficult! Please ensure that you know what you are doing before you embark on this training! It is a roller-coaster of highs and lows, constant study and "red" eyes. Please, please understand that you simply must have experienced the subject matter for a while before you go on this course. I did not know what the course entailed and left Firebrand very disappointed! The training is 1st class, there is NO better place to do MCSE BUT - Dont be under the illusion that you can come with little or no experience and pass. You will be in for a shock!"
Gary Parker, Self Employed.
Microsoft MCSE Vista Security+ Certification (14 Days) (18/8/2008 to 31/8/2008)

"Returned for my 5th course, over 4 years, with Firebrand Training. Outstanding. If you are willing to put in the effort, this is the quickest way to learn new technologies, or fill in your knowledge gaps for the Exams. If you are a slow learner, or have no experience, then this may not be the place for you. The food is worth looking forward to every day. Well recommended."
TB, Scientia Ltd.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 (8 Days) (21/9/2008 to 28/9/2008)

"A better way to study than the traditional training centre experience."
Jeffrey Wood, Heath Lambert Group.
Microsoft SharePoint Developer (Dual MCTS) Certification (5 Days) (4/8/2008 to 8/8/2008)

"Superb location for study. No distractions. Great food and other supplies. Really friendly and helpful lecturer who assisted us all throughout the course. Recommend pre-study and you have to understand that this is not a holiday camp. You will be studying for many, many hours each day. My hours were 8am through 11pm, even though the course states less.. but is it well worth the hardship. "
James Beard, Analytical Information Systems Limited.
Microsoft Vista Configuration (3 Days) (<--Please Select-->)

"I am very glad I chose Firebrand training, you get what you pay for. Everything was well prepared, the cirriculum was well designed and facilities were excellent. Microsoft MCTS SQL Server 2005 (5 Days) (1/9/2008 to 5/9/2008)

"I arrived on a Sunday evening not knowing anyone or done anything like this before. I knew it was going to be tough and i expected to be worked hard. After arriving we quickly got into the class room and were learning new and old material and really pushing for our goals. We started early, and finished late, but i dont think there is a better way to learn. We were given reassurance and any problem we had was dealt with brillaintly. The food was gorgeous, the room was nice, and the staff would happily help out. In the 13days I have been here, I have learnt a hell of alot more than I would if I took the course over a long period. Was a great place to be, recommend it to anyone. I think now I have the addiction, it wont be long before im back. Luke"
