A Firebrand Training
3
Day Course
The Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Candidates should have the knowledge and skill to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.
During our 3-day Certification Training Program, you will live, learn, and take the exam at one of our state-of-the-art education centres. This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review) delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to pass the simulator-based CCENT exam and to hit the ground running in your career.
Reasons for Cisco certification include career advancement, personal improvement, skills enhancement, higher earnings, and increased on-the-job productivity.
The Cisco CCENT certification lays the foundation for all other Cisco certifications.
This certification solidifies and markets your knowledge of installing, configuring, and operating routed LANs and WANs. Optimising WAN traffic through Internet access solutions that reduce bandwidth, and reducing WAN costs using features such as access list filters are also professional tasks of a CCENT.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.

"The purpose of any training centre is to provide an environment that reinforces the learning process. Our trainer, instilled in me a craving to gain knowledge to a level I did not know I was able attain in such a short space of time. As a result of this experience, I intend to continue with the Cisco accreditation processes and proceed with further education, and I sincerely hope trainers with the calibre of the trainer I had will be available to encourage and inspire me.

"I decided on Firebrand because I needed to be in an environment that was 100% focused on learning 24 hours a day. I got that & more. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and adept in relating the subject matter to his "real world" experiences which goes a long way to solidifying concepts into a student's mind."

Microsoft MCSE 2003 Certification (14 Days) (<--Please Select-->)
"The Dynamics AX Developer Foundation course proved to be an excellent developer introduction to AX. The intensive, but relaxed, instructor led training rapidly built up the basics of the product and got into the essential detail required to understand of the AX product and begin to develop solutions."
R.M., Microsoft Limited.
Microsoft Dynamics AX Foundation Developer (4 Days) (30/3/2008 to 2/4/2008)
"I arrived fresh faced and bushy tailed, I left with my head crammed full of facts and examples. I have difficulty communicating with the outside world again. Would I do it again? YES without hesitation."
Daniel Bryk, Smartodds.
Microsoft MCTS .NET - Web Applications (7 Days) (14/4/2008 to 20/4/2008)
"It has been a long and intense course, but certainly worth the eight sleepless nights!
I learnt a massive amount on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 in this period...
Also had the good fortune to have a fantastic group of fellow students, who were able to make at least a few drinks every evening after a days worth of coursework.
This week has been the epitome of the old cliche "work hard, play hard"!"
WellDataTech, WellDataTech.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 (8 Days) (18/5/2008 to 25/5/2008)
"Firebrand have created an environment where the student can be properly focused on their studies and not have to worry about anything external to that. The instructor was enormously helpful and always available after-hours for any further questions regarding the course curriculum. The availability of course materials and knowledge from the instructor make the experience nothing but a positive one and the learning process is vastly improved due to this."

Cisco CCNA 2007 Certification (6 Days) (10/3/2008 to 15/3/2008)
"You might not think it is possible to cram the whole MCSE into 14 days but believe me at Firebrand they manage it. Every day is 12-14 hours and after an exam is done you get very little time to recover before getting back into studying for the next one.
This is not an easy course and is not for the faint-hearted. You need conviction and determination if you want to succeed.
That said, the surroundings at Heythrop Park are beautiful, the staff are all very helpful and the food is amazing. If it wasnt for the all the learning and exams it would probably make for a nice holiday!
I would definitely consider using Firebrand for my future training and development needs."
N.B., self-employed.

Chris Waite, Bidetime Ltd.
Microsoft MCTS: SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence (6 Days) (24/3/2008 to 29/3/2008)
"I came very sceptical about what could be achieved in 14 days but had an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations. I am leaving today with my MCSE - nuff said! It's all down to a great instructor who left us with far more that just a piece of paper at the end of it and a great bunch of lads in my course who all pulled together to get through the collective highs and lows. Do your prereading and don't kid yourself this is easy - 8am till midnight in the labs every day is required - but put the effort in and it can be done. It's certainly not for beginners but if you have a good understanding of the concepts before you come you can do it. I wish you luck!"
Chris Dodge, Penta Consulting Ltd..
Microsoft MCSE Vista Security+ Certification (14 Days) (17/3/2008 to 30/3/2008)
"While I found that I was unprepared for the level of intensity of the training, our instructor managed to instill the confidence I needed to help me manage my training.
His tips, insight and encouragement certainly helped me to believe that I would be able to complete the course and do well in the exams.
Training here - while not for the faint hearted - is well worth the time and effort you put into it and the grounds are quite conducive to learning.

Allows you to get trained and certified in a few days. It aint easy, but if you are willing to work hard, if the trainer is good and if the course material and exams are sensible it can be a very productive experience!"
