A Firebrand Training
3
Day Course
The Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Candidates should have the knowledge and skill to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.
During our 3-day Certification Training Program, you will live, learn, and take the exam at one of our state-of-the-art education centres. This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review) delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to pass the simulator-based CCENT exam and to hit the ground running in your career.
Reasons for Cisco certification include career advancement, personal improvement, skills enhancement, higher earnings, and increased on-the-job productivity.
The Cisco CCENT certification lays the foundation for all other Cisco certifications.
This certification solidifies and markets your knowledge of installing, configuring, and operating routed LANs and WANs. Optimising WAN traffic through Internet access solutions that reduce bandwidth, and reducing WAN costs using features such as access list filters are also professional tasks of a CCENT.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.

"The course was extremely difficult!
Please ensure that you know what you are doing before you embark on this training! It is a roller-coaster of highs and lows, constant study and "red" eyes. Please, please understand that you simply must have experienced the subject matter for a while before you go on this course.
I did not know what the course entailed and left Firebrand very disappointed! The training is 1st class, there is NO better place to do MCSE BUT - Dont be under the illusion that you can come with little or no experience and pass. You will be in for a shock!"

How wrong could I be! The PMI course content and the instructor was fantastic. The grounds and the setting were perfect for my training experience.

"I did not know what to expect, as I had not been on a boot camp before. The experience was good, the focus was on learning and getting certifications. It was very hectic, lectures from 8.30am till 10.30pm every day with 2x45mins breaks for food, studying afterwards till early hours. An objective that was realised in comfortable inspired surroundings. "

Microsoft MCPD Web Developer Certification (9 Days) (4/8/2008 to 12/8/2008)
"Whilst I failed the Comptia Essentials Exam I did however, walk away with an immense amount of knowledge. One should not be disheartened if you fail because you should still take a resit and capitalise upon what you have been taught a Firebrand. I would recommend the Firebrand Training to anyome considering further IT qualification but only undertake the same if you are prepared for intense hard work. If you are not of that mind-set then it wont work for you - but if you are, then you will find the training well worth it!"

"I arrived at Heythrop armed with warnings and general foreboding of people who had trodden the path before so had read the course manuals and played about with CRM before arriving.
The course is intense yet rewarding. 17 hour days were initially a shock but by day 7 are second nature. The instructor was top notch and full of real world advice. The attendees were from a wide range of backgrounds yet everyone pulled together for revision sessions which helped massively to pass the exams. In short, hard work but rewarding. One tip, do not arrive without preparing."
