Day Course

Cisco - CCNA Certification - Overview

"Facilities are second to none; the staff in their attitude are super. The instructors knowledge exceptional!" Lorraine Milford (Firebrand CCNA certified)

"The staff and facilities have been consistantly excellent. I'll doubtless come here again and will be actively recommending you to some of my friends." Simon Lewis (Firebrand CCNA certified)

Here’s 7 reasons why you should take your CCNA with Firebrand Training:

  1. You’ll be certified in just 6 days. With us, you'll be a full CCNA in under a week
  2. It’s all inclusive. A one-off fee covers all course materials, exams, accommodation and meals. No hidden extras
  3. Pass first time or train again for free. This is our guarantee. We're sure you'll pass your CCNA course first time. But if you don’t, come back within a year, and only pay for accommodation and exams. Everything else is free
  4. You’ll learn more. Most training days run from 9am - 5pm, with a nice long break for lunch. With Firebrand you’ll get at least 12 hours/day quality learning time, with your instructor
  5. You'll learn faster. Chances are, you’ll have a different learning style to those around you. We combine visual, auditory and tactile styles to deliver the material in a way that ensures you will learn faster and more easily
  6. You’re in safe hands. We’re the Institute of IT Training’s “Training Company of the Year” 2006, 2007, 2008. We’ve trained and certified over 17,000 professionals to date, we’ve won several awards for our work, and we’re partners with all the big names in the business
  7. You don't just study the subject. We use more case studies and practical tests to make sure you can apply your new knowledge to the work environment

During the week, you’ll take exams on-site for the following accreditations:

  • Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Cisco - CCNA Certification - What's Included

Why is Cisco at Firebrand different?

Firebrand’s accelerated CCNA course offers you access to more equipment than most of our competitors.

There are many Cisco training providers and the equipment used can vary greatly. Several use remote labs where you never see the actual equipment but do exercises based on a connection to a rack of equipment “somewhere”…

At Firebrand we see things differently. We believe that in your first exposure to Cisco you should see, feel, and touch the kit. You need to know about interfaces and ports, but not by seeing a PowerPoint slide or a diagram, rather by actually connecting cables to the router or switch.

You’ll work in pairs and share a “pod” of equipment located in a rack. You have your own 2811 router and 2960 switch, access to additional equipment such as a Frame-Relay switch, along with additional routers and switches should you wish to tinker.

You'll be working hands-on with the latest Cisco 2800 series routers and 2960 switches.

You and your lab partner will share:

  • Router 2800 Series
  • Catalyst Switch 2960 Series
  • ISDN Simulator

The equipment we supply, alongside 24 hour lab access, gives you the tools to prepare you both for the CCNA exams, more importantly, the real world.

Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.

Our Certification Programs include*

  • Intensive Hands-on Training Utilising our (Lecture | Lab | Review)TM Delivery
  • Comprehensive Study Materials, Program Courseware and Self-Testing Software
  • Fully instructor-led program with 24 hour lab access
  • Examination vouchers
  • On site testing
  • Accommodation, All Meals, Beverages, and Snacks
  • Examination Passing Policy

* Please note:

  • Our ISC(2) Cissp CBK Review program differs from normal course delivery. For more details, speak to us on 080 80 800 888.
  • Exam vouchers for our (ISC)2 certifications need to be purchased directly from (ISC)2
  • On site testing is not included in our ISACA or PMI certifications

Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.

Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.

Examination Passing Policy

Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year.  Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.

Cisco - CCNA Certification - Prerequisites

Students that are successful in the Cisco CCNA training course are required to meet the following prerequisites:

  • Experience of a desktop operating system
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals

We interview all applicants for the course on their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and general suitability. If you get through this screening process, it means you stand a great chance of passing.

Firebrand Training is an immersive training environment. You must be committed to the course. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
