Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Our approach is highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote teamwork, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.

This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Our accelerated CCNA course is the most effective, efficient way to get CCNA certified.
We’ve designed our curriculum to prepare you for 2 Cisco exams sat during the program.
You’ll cover the following content:
CCNA ICND v.10
Operation of Data Networks
Implementing a small switched network
Implementing an IP addressing scheme
Implementing a small routed network
Concepts of Wireless LANs
Identifying security threats to a network
Introducing WAN links
CCNA ICND2 v1.0
Configuring VLANS
Implementing advanced IP addressing
Configuring Routing on Cisco Devices
Implementing NAT and ACLs
Implementing Wan Links
We’ll prepare you for, and test you in the following 2 exams required for the CCNA):
Note also that delegates who complete the CCNA Exam 640-822 will achieve the Cisco CCENT Certification
Firebrand’s accelerated CCNA course offers you access to more equipment than most of our competitors.
There are many Cisco training providers and the equipment used can vary greatly. Several use remote labs where you never see the actual equipment but do exercises based on a connection to a rack of equipment “somewhere”…
At Firebrand we see things differently. We believe that in your first exposure to Cisco you should see, feel, and touch the kit. You need to know about interfaces and ports, but not by seeing a PowerPoint slide or a diagram, rather by actually connecting cables to the router or switch.
You’ll work in pairs and share a “pod” of equipment located in a rack. You have your own 2811 router and 2960 switch, access to additional equipment such as a Frame-Relay switch, along with additional routers and switches should you wish to tinker.
You'll be working hands-on with the latest Cisco 2800 series routers and 2960 switches.
You and your lab partner will share:
The equipment we supply, alongside 24 hour lab access, gives you the tools to prepare you both for the CCNA exams, more importantly, the real world.
Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.
Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.
Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
Students that are successful in the Cisco CCNA training course are required to meet the following prerequisites:
We interview all applicants for the course on their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and general suitability. If you get through this screening process, it means you stand a great chance of passing.
Firebrand Training is an immersive training environment. You must be committed to the course. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.

I would readily recommend this form of training to individuals that have a fundamental understanding of networking concepts and Cisco Technologies; for those new to the industry, however, pick up a book before attending: the speed and intensity of the course will otherwise kill you."

"They promised intensive training - and they were right. I think it is helpful to be familiar with the material already, since the pace is hectic, and I reached a point where I didnt think I could absorb any more! I've never drunk so much coffee, nor worked so late into the night on a regular basis, but I'm glad to have my CCNA! And I've never come across a better calibre of instructor."
Christine Schofield, London Borough of Bromley.
Cisco CCNA Certification (6 Days) (9/3/2009 to 14/3/2009)
"This is my second experience with Firebrand Training - and it really does just get better. In my opinion there is no other training company that provides you with quality instructors, courseware and facalities that FB do.
If your serious about IT & serious about gaining a certification - look no further than Firebrand. I will be back!!!
