We've trained more than 30,000 students in ten years. We asked them all to review our Accelerated Learning. Currently,
96.06% have said Firebrand exceeded their expectations:
"The labs, in particular, make this course stand out from other training courses that I have taken. All other courses offer labs, but quite often the student is left to flounder around through the course work to figure out what the required commands are. The student eventually gets the job done, but is left with nothing that can be referred to a week, or a month later.
The instructors labs, in contrast were incredibly well-detailed and presented in a spiral binder. The required steps were all spelled out, making it easy to make notes in the lab books and to refer to those notes and commands in the future, when I am attempting to incorporate this course at work. Test-preparation labs were also provided - when all the steps were not given to the student.
The course could easily be considered to be worth the money - just for the labs."
Keith Terrell, Intergence Systems.
Cisco CCNP Security & CCNA Security (14 days) (2/2/2009 to 15/2/2009)
"Guys you just only have to see the place and taste the food. You learn a lot of stuff and you have not even realized it because you felt in vacation. Great value for money."
Marco Ermini, Vodafone Group GmbH.
Cisco CCNP Security & CCNA Security (14 days) (29/9/2008 to 12/10/2008)
"I have just finished my CCSP course, and i would say instructor has gone through every single point and cleared all concepts.
Spot on and highly recommended."
Asim Mukhtar.
Cisco CCNP Security & CCNA Security (14 days) (2/2/2009 to 15/2/2009)
"Excellent, all round course and facilities."

Cisco CCNP Security & CCNA Security (14 days) (27/10/2008 to 9/11/2008)
"I thoroughly enjoyed my Cisco CCSP course and came away with not only a conceptual understanding of the kit, but a good grounding in its application and possible uses."
Steve Wilde, Game Group.
Cisco CCNP Security & CCNA Security (14 days) (2/2/2009 to 15/2/2009)
"After putting off doing my CCSP for some time, I was glad to finally put myself on the course.
My biggest feeling that I had, was that I didn't have enough experience working on PIX firewalls and IDS/IPS systems. Only at an installation level.
But I did have a good networking background on routers and swiFirebrand*hes, had seen TACACS inplace, so that part of the course flew by. I'd set VPNs up before and must of been lucky, but this was the hardest test there's a lot to take in, but it was well worth it. SND was really easy, do this test at the end, no training is needed for that really.
If you come in with a good attitude and to want to pass this, you'll do well.
I now feel comfortable and happier going for the security jobs/contracts that get posted and emailed to me, I now have more choice. The course is paying for itself. As soon as I informed the two agencies I do work for that I was going on a CCSP course, they were lining work up for me. OK, so I have to get past the interview, I didn't/couldn't get there before!
Food's great, locations great, no distractions, good training, good atmosphere, I passed! What more could you want!
Other guys on the course had only just done their CCNA a couple of months ago, they passed, so if you're CCNA don't be worried about going for this!"
Martin Parkinson, Self Employed - Access Networks accessnetworks.biz.

This course includes both CCNP Security and CCNA Security certifications. CCNA Security is a pre-requisite for CCNP Security.
CCNP Security is an evolution of the CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional) certification and is aligned specifically to the job role of the Cisco Network Security Engineer. The CCNP Security certification is the most efficient way to ensure Network Security Engineers have the practical skills needed to deploy, service, maintain, and support Cisco network security solutions. CCNP Security delivers the practical skills needed to enforce cybersecurity performance, gain high quality security service levels, and meet compliance mandates.

Exam 640-553 IINS is a prerequisite for the CCNP Security certification. You will study for, and take, the exam at the beginning of the course.
The CCNP Security program is designed to provide the skills necessary to function as a network security engineer responsible for Routers, Switches and other Cisco Security appliances. Students will learn through a mix of lecture and practical exercises how to deploy, support, and troubleshoot Firewalls VPNs and IDS solutions. The course will comprise all the modules needed for the complete CCNP Security certification.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
