A Firebrand Training
14
Day Course
The goal of this fourteen-day accelerated program for Cisco Certified Security Professional Certification is to provide network security professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and implement highly secure networked business systems. Cisco Certified Security Professional Certification provides an individual with professional level recognition in designing and implementing Cisco security solutions using Cisco IOS, ACS, PIX Firewalls, the VPN 3000 Series Concentrators, IDS technologies and CiscoWorks VMS.
The Community for National Systems Security (CNSS) now awards the "Information Systems Security Professional" (INFOSEC) certification for the successful completion of the program's first four Cisco certification exams.
During the program, students will live, learn, and take the Cisco exams at one of our state-of-the-art education centres. This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review) delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to pass the simulator-based exams and to hit the ground running in your career.
Security has always been a concern to organizations that perform business. As organizations expand their networks and interconnect, the emphasis on network security has moved to the forefront. The market for skilled network security professionals has never been better. Remembering that network security is simply security applied to networking, it only makes sense to hone your skills on products that are the most recognized in the industry when working toward a network security certification.
Overall, Cisco certification validates an individual's achievement, increasing the holder's professional credibility by ensuring high standards of technical expertise. In particular, Cisco CCSP certification indicates knowledge of Cisco security products and technologies, as well as the ability to use them to build integrated network security solutions.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Students that successfully complete this dual certification program will be able to secure and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity and reduce costs. The program emphasizes topics such as perimeter security, virtual private networks, intrusion protection as well as how to combine these technologies in a single, integrated network security solution.
Each training day is segmented into Lecture, Lab, and Review components that cater to a student's multiple learning styles (auditory, visual, kinaesthetic-tactual). Our program covers the following material:
Firebrand Training has an aggressive educational schedule that thoroughly covers all essential elements necessary to become CCSPcertified.
For exam information please see the CCSP Exam Track.

Our attention to detail shows in our unsurpassed instruction and customer service, our classroom and testing facilities, and our individual and corporate success stories.
The CCSP certification (Cisco Certified Security Professional) indicates advanced knowledge of securing Cisco networks. With a CCSP, a network professional can secure and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity and reduce costs. The content emphasizes topics such as perimeter security, virtual private networks, intrusion protection as well as how to combine these technologies in a single, integrated network security solution.

Cisco CCNA certification is a prerequisite for registering for the Cisco CCSP certification examinations.
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students regarding their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and personal fortitude. This screening process ensures a successful match between the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated training and certification.
Firebrand Training is an aggressive training environment. You must have an attitude aimed for success. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.

"The course was extremely difficult!
Please ensure that you know what you are doing before you embark on this training! It is a roller-coaster of highs and lows, constant study and "red" eyes. Please, please understand that you simply must have experienced the subject matter for a while before you go on this course.
I did not know what the course entailed and left Firebrand very disappointed! The training is 1st class, there is NO better place to do MCSE BUT - Dont be under the illusion that you can come with little or no experience and pass. You will be in for a shock!"
Gary Parker, Self Employed.

PMI Project Management Professional (5 Days) (14/7/2008 to 18/7/2008)
"I arrived on a Sunday evening not knowing anyone or done anything like this before. I knew it was going to be tough and i expected to be worked hard. After arriving we quickly got into the class room and were learning new and old material and really pushing for our goals. We started early, and finished late, but i dont think there is a better way to learn. We were given reassurance and any problem we had was dealt with brillaintly. The food was gorgeous, the room was nice, and the staff would happily help out. In the 13days I have been here, I have learnt a hell of alot more than I would if I took the course over a long period. Was a great place to be, recommend it to anyone. I think now I have the addiction, it wont be long before im back.
