A Firebrand Training
14
Day Course
CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional) certification recognises the increased importance placed on IT professionals who are responsible for integrating voice technology into underlying network architectures.
During our Fourteen (14) Day Training Program for Cisco's CCVP Certification, you will live, learn, and take the actual Cisco exams at one of our state-of-the-art education centers.
This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review) delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to configure, deploy, and support Cisco's IP Telephony solutions.
Achieving Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) Certification is critical for those whose primary role is to integrate voice technology into underlying network architectures. Individuals who earn a CCVP certification can help create a telephony solution that is transparent, scalable, and manageable. Earning a CCVP certification validates a robust set of skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network. The certification content focuses on Cisco Systems CallManager, quality of service (QoS), gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Students that successfully complete the Cisco Certified Voice Professional program will possess the fundamental knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot Enterprise Call Manager, Unity and IP network deployments as well as deploying Quality of Service.
Our program for CCVP certification covers the following material:

A valid CCNA certification is required for candidates interested in pursuing Cisco's CCVP Certification.
The Cisco IP Telephony Troubleshooting exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot Enterprise CallManager, Unity, and IP network deployments. The IP Telephony Troubleshooting exam is one of two exams in a curriculum that addresses both design/planning practices and hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting AVVID solutions.
The QOS 642-642 exam will certify that the successful candidate has knowledge and skills necessary to configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS routers running Quality of Service protocols in Service Provider and Enterprise environments. The exam covers topics on IP QOS, classification and marking Mechanisms, queuing mechanisms, traffic shaping and policing mechanisms, congestion avoidance mechanisms, link efficiency mechanisms, modular QOS command line interface, and QOS Best Practices.
The 642-443 CIPT exam will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills necessary to configure and troubleshoot complex Cisco Call Manager platforms using multiple-call control, call admission control (CAC), and basic call routing and dial plans.
The 642-432 CVOICE exam focuses on implementing and supporting data and voice integration solutions at the network-access level.
The 642-452 GWGK exam assesses the knowledge of the Systems Engineer on the implementation of Cisco gateways and gatekeepers to integrate a VoIP network to both PSTN and TDM equipment.
