Day Course
Achieving Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification is critical for those whose primary role is to operate and maintain IP Telephony multi-service network solutions. Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialists can configure and deploy complex Cisco Call Manager platforms using multiple-call control, call admission control (CAC), and basic call routing and dial plans, and have the skills and knowledge necessary to resolve connectivity issues related to traditional PSTN technology, PBX and voice mail systems.
During our Seven (7) Day Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification Training Program, you will live, learn, and take the 642-425 IPTT and 642-642 QOS exams at one of our state-of-the-art education centres.
This blended-learning program employs outcome-based (Lecture | Lab | Review) delivery - that focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to configure, deploy, and support Cisco's IP Telephony solutions.
The Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification designates candidates as having the fundamental knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot Enterprise Call Manager, Unity and IP network deployments as well as deploying Quality of Service. The certification validates knowledge and expertise across a broad range of troubleshooting areas including methods, Call Manager review, Call Manager Dial Plan, internal services aids, external tools, voice quality and Unity configuration parameters, problems and solutions.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.

This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Students that successfully complete the Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification program will possess the fundamental knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot Enterprise Call Manager, Unity and IP network deployments as well as deploying Quality of Service.
Our IP Telephony Operations Specialist program covers the following material:
The Cisco IP Telephony Operations Specialist indicates the ability to demonstrate proficiency in operating Cisco IP telephony solutions.
A valid CCNA certification is required for candidates interested in pursuing Cisco's IP Telephony Operations Specialist Certification.
The Cisco IP Telephony Troubleshooting exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot Enterprise CallManager, Unity, and IP network deployments. The IP Telephony Troubleshooting exam is one of two exams in a curriculum that addresses both design/planning practices and hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting AVVID solutions.
The QOS 642-642 exam will test materials covered under the Implementing Cisco Quality of Service QOS v2.0 course. The exam will certify that the successful candidate has knowledge and skills necessary to configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS routers running Quality of Service protocols in Service Provider and Enterprise environments. The exam covers topics on IP QOS, classification and marking Mechanisms, queuing mechanisms, traffic shaping and policing mechanisms, congestion avoidance mechanisms, link efficiency mechanisms, modular QOS command line interface, and QOS Best Practices.

Microsoft Dynamics AX Financials (8 Days) (4/5/2008 to 11/5/2008)
"A poet could probably describe the experience better, but I'd start by saying the course was a relentless and torrential learning experience. From the day you arrive to the moment you leave, you are in a concentrated learning environment and you mind is assualted with education. I feel the use of aggressive adjectives is apt as you will learn, you will learn quickly and you don't have a choice in the matter, which is exceptional. Most people who require a course like this lead busy lives and don't have time away from work to learn new skills. It is ideal for the subject. I also wish that University was presented in a way like this. It would have been much more productive to complete a semester in 9 days than 6 months..."
