Novell Certified Linux Professional 10 Training
This seven day course is intended for students interested in being Linux administrators and wishing to certify their skills by obtaining the
Novell Certified Linux Professional 10 qualification.
The course and exam practicum is based upon the
Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 distribution.
Students will undertake a series of lectures and lab exercises culminating in the Novell Practicum
exam on the last day.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of Linux including working with Linux shells
- Administer users, groups and file permissions
- Configure Linux network connections
- Monitor SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
- Administer system initialisation
- Administer virtualisation with XEN
- Configure and use the Samba file server
- Create simple shell scripts
