APMG - PRINCE2® Foundation / Practitioner - Exam Track
We’ll prepare you for, and test you in the following exams:
- The PRINCE2® Foundation Examination is a one-hour, multiple-choice paper of 75 questions. You need 38 correct answers to pass
- The PRINCE2® Practitioner 3-hour exam comprises nine questions based around a scenario, each covering a different syllabus area clearly identified within the question. Each of the nine questions is worth 40 marks and will be sub-divided into parts. This gives a total of 360 marks. The pass mark is 180 out of a possible 360 marks
You can refer to the PRINCE2® manual in this exam but no other supporting materials are permitted.

APMG - PRINCE2® Foundation / Practitioner - Prerequisites
You'll have at least one and a half years of project management experience, either directly as a project manager or as part of a team.
We interview all applicants for the course on their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and general suitability. If you get through this screening process, it means you stand a great chance of passing.
Firebrand Training is an immersive training environment. You must be committed to the course. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.

"I have a background of 30 years in computing, so am used to demanding training courses and absorbing new information.
Thorough preparation before attending the course is essential. Even though the Practitioner exam is open book, it is necessary to commit a lot of detailled information to memory and only use the books for reference to detail, for example contents of forms, if you want to complete all the questions within the allotted time.
I found the actual Foundation exam was far more difficult than the practice papers. Practice papers were completed under exam conditions in 35-40 minutes. I needed the full hour allowed for the actual exam.
I would certainly use Firebrand* / Maven again, and am hoping to attend the MSP course to complement my PRINCE2 training.
The training material is more comprehensive than used by some other training providers used by colleagues in the past. "
