Microsoft MCPD Upgrade from MCAD to MCPD
Prerequisites
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students
regarding their technical background, degrees and
certifications held, and personal fortitude. This
screening process ensures a successful match between
the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated
training and certification.
Successful
Microsoft Certified
Professional Developer (MCPD) candidates are expected
to have taken and passed the following MCAD exams:
Developing and
Implementing Windows-based Applications with
Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual
Studio .NET (70-306)
-or-
Developing and Implementing Windows-based
Applications with Microsoft Visual C# .NET and
Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (70-316)
plus
Developing and Implementing Web Applications
with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft
Visual Studio .NET (70-305)
-or-
Developing and Implementing Web Applications with
Microsoft Visual C# and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
(70-315)
In addition you should
candidates should possess the following experience:
- At least two years of experience
developing applications
by using the Microsoft .NET Framework.
- At least three to four years of
on-the-job experience dedicated to Web
application development.
- A working
knowledge of Visual Studio 2005.
