Day Course
The next version of Exchange Server offers new, innovative capabilities for messaging administrators who oversee the messaging environment, and for people who use email and calendaring through a variety of clients, including Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Web Access and mobile devices. New benefits include assistance to automate time-consuming calendaring tasks, managed folders to facilitate compliance needs and more.
Our 7 Day accelerated Exchange 2007 program will prepare you for the following accreditation:
This program is suitable for:
This is an accelerated, residential, fully-immersed course, designed for IT professionals that require effective, real-world skill-building and timely certification. You will live, learn, and test on-site.
Reasons for Microsoft Exchange certification include career advancement, personal improvement, skills enhancement, and higher salaries. According to Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Magazine, IT Professionals focusing on Microsoft Exchange as a specialization earn an average salary of £62,100.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
Students attending this blended-learning program will receive a robust set of course materials that caters to each of the three primary individual learning-intake styles (auditory, visual, and kinaesthetic-tactual) - critical for a successful accelerated learning experience.
Daily lectures, labs, and review sessions are supplemented by a combination of:
The Microsoft Exchange 2007 Program prepares students to successfully pass the examinations outlined below.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE): Messaging candidates on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 track must pass two messaging specialization exams and six core exams.
Each of the following (messaging specialization) exams which will be taken during the program also satisfy the requirements for the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) designation.
Note: Exam 70-236 satisfies the the requirements for the MCTS: Exchange Server 2007, Configuring designation.
Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.
Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.
Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience administering an Exchange Server infrastructure.
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students regarding their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and personal fortitude. This screening process ensures a successful match between the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated training and certification.
Firebrand Training is an aggressive training environment. You must have an attitude aimed for success. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
"The week long course was superb. The instructor had bags of energy and was very knowledgeable, more than able to flesh out the official curriculum material and relate it to real-world scenarios. A very motivating and supportive atmosphere in which to learn. And, of course, the food is great."

"I have attended many Microsoft training courses in the last 17 years. On almost all of them, I returned thinking that I could have taught myself what I learned, from the book!
I was very impressed with the skill and friendly nature of the instructor and the way in which the Exchange 2007 course was presented.
The facilities at your Heythrop site are amazing. The tranquil surroundings and the ability to study in the classroom whenever you want to, at any time day or night was the icing on the cake for me.
The cooking was as good as my wife's! Well done those chefs.
My first choice for training from now on will be Firebrand.
Thank you very much for a very enjoyable course. "

"Another long week, but the environment is fantastic for learning. Staff are always friendly and willing to help (even giving you another arial lead for your TV so you can watch match of the day). Food as ever is excellent, chefs should be working for that Ramsey bloke. Course was hard work and a lot of late night reading, but leaving after passing all 3 exams, so it is worth it."
Chris Owen, Capgemini.
Microsoft Exchange 2007 (7 Days) (25/2/2008 to 2/3/2008)
"Certainly this was an experience and a half. Never done any boot camps before, but once you are in there the intensity of it all does hit you at first, then you adapt and focus yourself to the training/studying.
Relaxing/chilling out was very little as you are constantly working. If you want an environment to study without disruption, then Firebrand Training is the place, but be prepared it does knacker you out though!"
