Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
During this course you will take the following exams:
Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.
Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.
Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
Candidates for the ASP.NET exam use Microsoft Visual Studio in a team-based, medium to large development environment. Candidates should have a minimum of two to three years of experience developing Web-based applications by using Microsoft ASP.NET. Candidates should also have a minimum of one year of experience with the following:
Candidates should be very familiar with Visual Studio 2005 or later and the .NET Framework classes that are related to ASP.NET and ADO.NET. In addition, candidates should have a good grasp of ASP.NET AJAX.
Firebrand Training staff interview all potential students regarding their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and personal fortitude. This screening process ensures a successful match between the customer and Firebrand Training toward accelerated training and certification.
Firebrand Training is an aggressive training environment. You must have an attitude aimed for success. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
"Hard work with exceptional results. Excellent!"
CM, System C Healthcare.
"Everything was excellent from the standard of the teaching to the food. Simply the best environment to learn in."
DA,
"Loved it, professional environment that encourages you to learn."
RM, Dlapiper.
"Exceptional instructor, relaxing environment, all set for mastering in your subject area."

"The training was very effective with an excellent instructor who gave us all the support we needed. The course was exhausting but made bearable by the excellent staff and food. "
Daniel Jones, Bond Pearce LLP.
"This was my first time with Firebrand. Coming from a training environment, I was extremely impressed with the training facilities offered, the dedication and background experience of the teaching staff and the overall presentation throughout the course."
Ian Spreadborough, Ship Safe Training GroupLtd.
"I arrived at Heythrop armed with warnings and general foreboding of people who had trodden the path before so had read the course manuals and played about with CRM before arriving.
The course is intense yet rewarding. 17 hour days were initially a shock but by day 7 are second nature. The instructor was top notch and full of real world advice. The attendees were from a wide range of backgrounds yet everyone pulled together for revision sessions which helped massively to pass the exams. In short, hard work but rewarding. One tip, do not arrive without preparing."
Robert Boyers, Cal Software Ltd.
"Great way of learning... Good to focus without distraction!
Great use of time!!!"
CR, AB Agri.
"Great course. The Instructor was very knowledgable and was on hand at all times to help me. The food was excellent."
Mark Janner-Burgess, Aveva.
"I would highly recommend the Firebrand Training courses to anybody including non-industry people.
The courses are intense, but the delivery of the content is first class."
Mark Gambrell, MTA Solicitors.
"The training that you get at Firebrand is first class with the instuctors helping anyway possible.
Although there is only one choice of meal at dinner if you approach the chefs they will do there best to accomidate you if possible.
I would reccomend anyone that is thinking of coming for a CCNA course to get the cram book for the course and read it before attending. Come with no knowledge and you will struggle.
Last of all be prepared for long days drifting off into long nights. "
Christopher Spence, Fluor Ltd.
"Loved it, professional environment that encourages you to learn."
RM, Dlapiper.
"I was very impressed with the instructor. He delivered the course at the right pace and level to get through all the material, which is substantial! To any further students I can fully recommend this course and suggest they prepare as much as possible. "
Ralph Carter, AIM Technology.
"Loved it, professional environment that encourages you to learn."
RM, Dlapiper.

"A really great place to learn. Beautiful surroundings, great food, and truely world-class experienced and qualified trainers.
On top of that - fantastic facilities for you to get stuck in and learn without distractions. You do have to work hard, but theres plenty of support to help you do it. I will definitely look to Firebrand Training when I feel it is time for my next IT qualifications."
James Wells, WebCertain Europe Limited.
"The course was very hard going but very good. The centre, all the staff and the food were all excellent. The only thing that I would advise is that you have a very good understanding of computers and IT before you come. This was a complete career change for me and I had very little computing knowledge when I started, unlike everyone else on the course, but I worked hard and manged to get my first IT qualification. So it can be done. Would definitley recommend Firebrand Training. "
MP, un-employed.
"This is the way to do training. It is intensive and focused but it provides the ideal environment to learn the subject and pass the exams. Excellent food and trainers. Highly recommended."
Andrew Deacon, Cabinet Office.
"Does what it says on the tin..intense but effective."
CS, Civil Service.
"Fantastic, I would never have believed that so much can be learned in such a short time, do not get me wrong, its tough, but if you have the right mindset, attitude and the help from the staff, ANYTHING can be achieved.
The trainer is an exceptional tutor. Going to miss Freddo the frog (private joke!) so im booking another course as soon as I am back in the office.
John"
John Taylor, Earls Court Group.
"The hours are long and it is intensive but everyone here can relate to you, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are so approachable and friendly."
