Microsoft MCTS .NET 3.5 Web and Data Applications - Benefits

Benefits of MCTS certification

  • An MCTS certification highlights your areas of expertise, so that your skills and knowledge stand out to hiring managers and project leads
  • By earning multiple MCTS certifications, you can demonstrate your breadth of knowledge of Visual Studio 2008. You can also build on your MCTS certifications to earn a Professional Series credential
  • MCTS certification grants you access to the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) community and benefits, including a personal profile on Microsoft.com and access to the Microsoft Knowledge Base

Benefits of IT certification

For IT managers, certification is particularly important because it allows them to more easily identify the skills that an individual possesses. When a company has employees that possess certain skills, it can garner a competitive advantage when seeking to attract customers. Certification can also contribute to increased productivity, because studies have shown that certified individuals are generally quicker to implement and design new technologies. And of course by knowing that their employees are certified, IT managers can feel more confident about their ability to implement and support a network infrastructure.

Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.

Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.

Firebrand Training provides instruction to meet every learning need, including

  • Intensive group instruction
  • One-on-one instruction attention
  • Hands-on labs
  • Lab partner and group exercises
  • Question and answer drills
  • Independent study

This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.

MCTS .NET 3.5 Web and Data Applications Testimonials

"Firebrand Training is a great training centre with very good facilities set in beautiful surroundings. My instructor, is a genius and a top bloke. Definitely recommend the Exchange Server 2007 course. The food was exceptional, thanks to the chefs."
Craig Smith, Port of Tilbury London Ltd.

"Firebrand Training was a very good place to learn a large amount of topics in a short time. The environment is very good for study, great food and relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend for anybody who wants to learn at a much quicker rate."
Bryan Middleton, Imerja.

"Great way of learning... Good to focus without distraction! Great use of time!!!"
CR, AB Agri.

"The training is tough and hard hitting, with very little time for anything else. But if you are preared to put in the Time and effort for the course, you will see the results."
Steve Harley, KBR.

"An intensive course but producing good results! Whilst the orientation is mis-leading and actually leads you straight into your first nights learning experience, you quickly adjust to its intensive nature. The accomodation is simple, but enough to get a good nights rest and to study in private. 3 meals a day are provided and the catering staff try to accomodate as much as possible. But there is a huge range of snacks, soft drinks, tea & coffee to keep you going in-between. Overall a great way to remove yourself from your daily distractions and get on with the task of getting certified as quickly as possible. Definitely recommended, however a prior knowledge of working with Dynamics (or any other) CRM and a grounding on MS Windows/Servers will definitely help give you a jump start on certain elements of this course."
Phil Midgley, Collins Stewart Wealth Management.

"Loved it, professional environment that encourages you to learn."
RM, Dlapiper.

"The Instructor is knowledgable and enthusiastic about his subject. Cramming that amount of material into the time period must have been challenging."

Damion Wright, PC World.

"It was good to be in a dedicated learning environment away from every day distractions. But be prepared for long days and lots of self study. Also with the help and expertise of the tutor I have increased my knowledge of Oracle and know in what areas I need to do further studying. The accommodation was good and the food excellent."
IB, Microgen Ltd.

"Pace, although intensive, was just right. Trainer was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was great."
Simon Knox, Myself.

"Returned for my 5th course, over 4 years, with Firebrand Training. Outstanding. If you are willing to put in the effort, this is the quickest way to learn new technologies, or fill in your knowledge gaps for the Exams. If you are a slow learner, or have no experience, then this may not be the place for you. The food is worth looking forward to every day. Well recommended."
TB, Scientia Ltd.

"Very focused and concise training to achive certification - with supportive trainers and environment."
BD, BMS (UK) Ltd.

"Get hands on before you come and expect a full on non stop experience!!!"
Dan Cannon, NHS.

"MCPD certification in 2 weeks... a lot of hard work but it is amazing, the amount you can learn in a short time. It is due to the excellent location and facilities but mainly our instructor. He is an excellent instructor who really knows his subject inside out."
Andrew McGibbon, ITP Solutions.

"Firebrand Training is very hard, do not come here expecting to be in the bar everynight. During my time here the only time to go outside was to get the minibus to and from the station. Very hard work but the amount of information you learn is enormous!! Do not come here if you are not focused to learn."
Ben Westlake, Nemo Personal Finance.

"Do as much as you can before you attend and be prepared to work harder still during your stay. Be prepared for the long days. Get to the stage where you feel in your mind you can pass the exam before you attend. This will take the pressure off. Then you can use the week to max your skillset and iron out any things youre not certain of. You will not regret the effort when pass the exam. "
James Reeve, WR Evans (Chemist) Ltd.
