On a personal level, the pressures are not to be underestimated, I found I had to be single-minded and remain focussed to ensure that I was able to complete the course. It is important to find your best learning methods, write down the key points, take every opportunity to learn from your instructors exam tips and never miss a review session! A balance of reading, taking notes, re-reading, labs, lectures and review sessions meant that I not only learned parrot fashion, but actually set the information in my mind. Don't expect nightly drinking and rolling up with a hangover; you've got a shock coming! But the lack of partying aside (when would I have had the time?), I have thoroughly enjoyed my MCAD experience."
