"The main thing that sold me on attending Firebrand* is that it is total immersion. The training centre is self contained so your room is steps away from the classroom, and canteen, and with the workload there is little opportunity to go outside anyway! Intensive training is an understatement! We covered so much in the two weeks, I can hardly believe it. It would help greatly, though, if you were already quite familiar with the subject matter. Post training, I would recommend Firebrand* for the quality of training I received, and the friendliness of the place (the food was excellent too!). It was very hard work though, and I'm sure that training this intensive is not for everyone!"

"Before I came here I had never used Visual Studio or any Microsoft programming language, other than some preparation for the course. Now, twelve days later,.I am an MCSD and feel pretty comfortable with Visual Studio .NET and C#. I now have to go back and use all this in my job, and feel ready to do so. "If I can say my experience in one line, I would say "If I can become an MCAD through this course, anyone can". The reason being I have never worked on .NET before and my skill level in web development is a big zero. My experience is only on VB6. But now, not only am Ian MCAD, I only need to clear the 70-300 to become an MCSD. All this is because of instructor and the training facilities. I would certainly recommend this training for anyone with little experience on .NET (you would struggle if you haven't worked on .NET before, but not impossible though). The training programme is totally different to any training programmes that I have had from other companies. The other companies tend to be spoon-feeding. It is not like that here, you will be given all the support that you need, but end of the day you have to put in the effort if you want to become an MCAD/MCSD."

"It was a great experience. Our instructor was the best I've ever met. Everything at the camp was designed to motivate us studying and learning every minute. I have to put a note about restaurant staff- you cannot get better service in a top restaurant. Cheerful staff and wonderful meals everyday. Heythrop Park was beautiful but unfortunately we didnt have any time to live that. Efficiency was made it possible to achieve results in two weeks -which could be months otherwise. Its not a place for the half-hearted, embrace yourself for a very hard schedule and hard work. You'll be very tired at the end but its well worth it. Wouldn't go anywhere else once you experience this."

"I attended Firebrand* with no background in .NET, and no expectations - except that it was going to be hard work. The course timetable is even more difficult than I had imagined, but it is achievable as the subject matter is of real interest, and the general buzz of the whole place - both from fellow delegates and the intructors - is uplifting. If you are an IT professional, with a real interest in what you do and a keen desire to learn, you have all the tools you need. If you are not prepared to work hard and put the time in then I suggest you take up knitting instead."
