For HR managers, certification is particularly important because it allows them to more easily identify the skills that an individual possesses. When a company has employees that possess certain skills, it can garner a competitive advantage when seeking to attract customers. Certification can also contribute to increased productivity.
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Effective technical instruction must be highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote camaraderie and teamwork between the students and instructor, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.

"Be prepared for a hard two weeks. It is challenging both mentally and physically. Great instructors provide solid foundations for a successful course. Your level of knowledge will increase and hopefully you will go away with the qualifications / knowledge you desire, I did!
I chose Firebrand as a colleague had been on a previous course. If someone has a good experience, there is no need to look for an alternative. I would definitely recommend Firebrand Training."

"I was technically below par when entering the camp but was rabidly able to take on board the concepts introduced and learnt a lot of useful knowledge. If you think you know your subject 15hours a day, every day won't be difficult for you."
Tony Morris, Office Technology Corporation Ltd..

"When i came to the course i knew very little on SQL - The instructor was excellent - made the course very interesting and knowledgable - I learnt a hell of a lot from his classes and he was very helpful with any questions and explaining things in full - An absolute credit to the instructors ability - "

"The whole Firebrand setup is very much focused on zero distraction learning. They provide an excellent environment in which all your needs are met such that you can focus soley on the task in hand - namely learning. At times it can be tiring, even exhausting, but if you are prepared to put the work in, the rewards are potentially massive. I would certainly consider taking another Firebrand course but not until the intensity of this one has faded from memory!"
Dave Lowe, GenesReunited.
MCTS .NET 2.0 - Web Applications Training (7 Days) (23/6/2008 to 29/6/2008)
"An excellent course. The pacing was just right, with several long days of lectures, but with time always being made available for additional reading and lab work, which is essential on a course like this. Despite not completing all the exams yet (I decided to defer the Windows 2008 exams in order to get some more hands on experience with some of the areas I had previously had little exposure to), I will leave the course with a lot more confidence and knowledge than when I came. With a little bit more self study I should be able to successfully complete the exams.
The instructor was excellent and made the course very enjoyable. He had vast amounts of real world experience which is always invaluable and was more than happy to elaborate on any questions raised.
The whole team at Firebrand were friendly and made the whole prospect of being away from home for 2 weeks much easier than I had anticipated. The food was also varied and of a very high quality.
Despite being very apprehensive about attending the course beforehand, I would not hesitate to recommend Firebrand as an effective training solution, and I hope to return to do additional courses in the future!"
Michael Dutton, CP Kelco UK Ltd.
MCITP Enterprise & Server Administrator (13 Days) (14/7/2008 to 26/7/2008)
"Although the course was hard work and I did not achieve my MCSA qualification, I did learn a great deal which I am looking forward to put into practice in the real world. I strongly recommend that anyone thinking about doing this course, especially the MCSE, should first have 1-2 years experience with Active Directory before applying. Also, if you are not used to an intense learning environment, then I would suggest breaking the course up into 2 or 3 parts as it can be physically and mentally draining.
Overall, I have enjoyed my time here - the enthusiasm and knowledge of the instructor was excellent, and the facilities offered by Firebrand Training(especially the food!) provided a perfect environment for the intense study that the course required."
AT.
MCSA Windows 7 & XP Certification (9 Days) (18/8/2008 to 26/8/2008)
"As suggested on the website, the camp provided all the facilities required to complete my MCSE. The instruction was excellent and the focused learning allowed me to achieve an end goal, that may otherwise have taken months to complete."
JS, MOD.
