This will prove your understanding of the SAP® Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. You'll learn about both SAP® Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Materials Management (MM). The following are beneficial, though not necessary:
- Experience of working with, or implementing, a SAP® Supply Chain Management / Materials Management - Procurement system or other enterprise procurement system
- Understanding of materials management and procurement and the basic principles involved such as stock control and planning, purchasing, inventory management and invoice verification and purchase order recording processes
- Understanding of the business processes involved in physical inventory management and goods movements processing
- Familiarisation with stock transfer processes, vendor evaluation, purchasing processes and scheduling agreements
- Familiarisation with materials valuation principles and Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and forecasting principles
- Familiarisation with inventory reporting processes
