Sun Solaris SCSA Certification Version 10 (7 Days)
Overview
This 7 day program is an
accelerated, residential, fully-immersed course intended for system administrators who are preparing to perform essential and advanced system administration procedures in the
latest Solaris 10 Operating System.
The course provides students with hands-on experience
working with essential and complex administration tasks. It includes the
certification tests and assessments throughout the week using example test
questions. Students will undertake a series of
lectures and lab exercises focussing on attaining the
SCSA certification.
Students will live, learn, and test on-site.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Manage file local and network systems
- Perform system boot procedures
- Perform user and security administration
- Manage network printers and system processes
- Perform system backups and restores
- Describe network interface configuration
- Manage swap configuration and core dumps
- Manage storage volumes
- Control access and configure system messaging
- Set up name services
- Configure Role Based Access Control
- Use Name Services (DNS, LDAP, NIS)
- Implement and Manage Zones
- Configure Automated Installations (Jumpstart)
