A Firebrand Training
5
Day Course
As information technology and the Internet become more integrated into today's workplaces, organisations must consider the misuse of technology as a real threat and plan for its eventuality. When cyber crime strikes, the real issue is not the incident itself, but how the organisation responds to the attack.
A specialised and fast growing field of investigation known as computer forensics is a leading defence in the corporate world's armoury against cyber crime. Forensic investigators detect the extent of a security breach, recover lost data, determine how an intruder got past security mechanisms and, potentially, identify the culprit.
The goal of this five day accelerated information security course is to educate cyber crime investigators in the techniques of computer forensics investigation. During the program, students will live, learn, and take certification examinations at one of our state-of-the-art education centres. This program focuses on preparing you with the real-world skills required to pass the CHFI 312-49 examination, which is delivered at the conclusion of the program.
Our Computer Forensics Program:
Technical certification is a sound investment in your career. Although certification does not guarantee success, research has shown that it can have a significant impact on:
Firebrand Training provides instruction to meet every learning need, including:
Other accelerated training providers rely heavily on lecture and independent self-testing and study.
Our approach is highly varied and interactive to keep attention levels high, promote teamwork, and solidify knowledge through hands-on learning.
You’ll get:
This information has been provided as a helpful tool for candidates considering certification. Benefits of certification determined through studies do not guarantee any particular personal successes. Firebrand Training provides a guarantee of obtaining certification at the camp, but does not make any guarantees about personal successes or benefits of obtaining certification.
This accelerated computer forensic program will prepare students with the necessary skills to identify an intruder's footprints and to properly gather the necessary evidence to prosecute.
Many of today's top tools of the forensic trade will be taught during this course, including software, hardware, and specialized techniques.
Each training day is segmented into Lecture, Lab, and Review components that cater to a student's multiple learning styles (auditory, visual, kinaesthetic-tactile). Our program covers the following material:
CHFI Exam (312-49)
Firebrand Training offers top-quality technical education and certification training in an all-inclusive course package specifically designed for the needs and ease of our students. We attend to every detail so our students can focus solely on their studies and certification goals.
Our instructors teach to accommodate every student's learning needs through individualised instruction, hands-on labs, lab partner and group exercises, independent study, self-testing, and question/answer drills.
Firebrand Training has dedicated, well-equipped educational facilities where you will attend instruction and labs and have access to comfortable study and lounging rooms. Our students consistently say our facilities are second-to-none.
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.
This accelerated program caters to students with introductory to intermediate experience in computer forensics. Students will walk away from this course with the information necessary to immediately conduct an examination of digital media.
It is strongly recommended that you attend the CEH class before enrolling into CHFI program.
We interview all applicants for the course on their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and general suitability. If you get through this screening process, it means you stand a great chance of passing.
Firebrand Training is an immersive training environment. You must be committed to the course. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.

"I was searching for a training centre that can provide me with quality training in the area of computer forensics in a short period of time. Upon searching the Internet I came accross Firebrand* and was suprised that the courses can be done in such a short period of time. Since my phone call with the customer service department I was suprised to receive such a profesional and five star service.

"Firebrand* provided an excellent environment in which to explore and learn a complex technology space.
Nothing is too much trouble for their staff, and you are always greeted with a welcome smile. The staff are prepared to go that extra mile to help the students... be it working extra hours in the lab, or preparing additional demonstrations.
The instructors are knowledgable about the material, and have a good breadth of knowledge to carry through the course and help explain real-work situations.
It is hard work, with long evenings of reading, but you'll also gel with your group and make some great new contacts. And after a hard evening's reading... The kitchen staff welcome you back for the next day with a warm smile and a great Bacon sarnie !
Thank you !!"
